Metal Pickling Applications for Our Pumps
Metal surface treatment processes like metal pickling require the use of highly caustic chemicals. Solvents like hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid are used to remove impurities and discolorings from the surfaces of various metal. Our leak-free magnetic drive pumps are essential for the regulation and evacuation of acids used in the process.
American made at our suburban Chicago facility, March mag drive pumps are designed and built to withstand the most challenging environments. Capable of handling highly corrosive acids and chemicals, our pumps typically can tolerate a liquid temperature of 190 Fahrenheit and an internal pressure of 50psi.
Our model TE-5C-MD pump is able to produce a maximum flow of 17 gallons per minute at 4 feet, with a maximum head of 29 feet. All of our models have pumped acetic acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid.
