The number 6 pump has a capacity of up to 38 GPM with a maximum of 46 feet of head and is used in a wide variety of chemical and industrial applications.
The number 6 pump is the only model in the MARCH line that is equipped with
a drip proof motor as standard, thus the DP designation in the nomenclature.
Other motors are available, such as a TEFC, single and three phase and an
explosion proof. As in other models, the number 6 pump can be made compatible
with a wide range of chemicals through a myriad of "O" rings, bushings and
spindles available for both the T model and the K model. The T has no
significance as to materials of construction, etc. The K does, however, indicate
that the pump is manufactured of Kynar® (PVDF). The options and
specifications sections that follow further describe materials of construction,
applications and variations in the number 6 pump - a reliable and well-made
product.
