The largest and newest chemical pump in the MARCH product line is the TE-10K-MD.
It has capacities of 206 GPM and a maximum discharge pressure of 70 PSI or
162 feet of head. It is of Kynar® plastic (PVDF) construction and is
designed to handle strong halogen solutions and certain strong chromic or
sulfuric acid solutions.
Because the TE-10K-MD pump is manufactured of only one material, for some
rather specific applications, the variations in bushings, thrust washer and
static "O" rings are limited.
The electric motor drive for the number 10 pump is a 10 HP, 3 phase, dual
voltage, TEFC chemical duty motor. An explosion proof 15 HP is available
on special order.
To insure smooth operation with various specific gravities, the impeller
magnet assembly may be trimmed to a minimum diameter of 5.250 inches. The
trim curve family should be consulted for other trim sizes for total
compatibility with solutions of 1.0 specific gravity or higher.
The TE-1OK-MD pump uses a unique drive magnet system and extreme caution
should be exercised in assembly to avoid damage to the pump or injury to
the technician. The MARCH TE-10K-MD pump is innovative in design and application
and can solve many difficult fluid handling problems.
