The Series 4 pump was introduced sometime after the release of the number
5. Certain OEM's that were using the number 5 pump needed a unit that employed
the same wet end assembly but with less head and flow capabilities. Thus
the Series 4 was introduced with the pump housing and cover of the number
5, but with a 1/12 HP motor and an altered impeller magnet assembly. The
changes resulted in a pump that yields 14 GPM and 21.5 feet of head.
Some options now include, Kynar® (PVDF) wet ends, metric threads and
air motors as noted in the options and specifications that follow.
