Whether it is a large photographic film processor, waste treatment system, or a plating system, the MARCH model TE-8 pump is an ideal choice. The various materials of construction enable the number 8 pump to be used to handle strong and difficult solutions.
The number 8 pump is available, as a standard unit, with wetted parts of glass filled polypropylene, carbon filled Kynar® and 316 stainless steel.
Standard bushing materials used in the various number 8 models include carbon, Teflon®/Ryton®/carbon and mica filled Teflon®. These may be interchanged between the glass filled polypropylene, the Kynar® and the stainless steel impeller magnet assemblies to insure complete chemical/wetted material compatibility.
The standard spindle for all three models is ceramic. However, for better chemical resistance, also available on special order are Hastelloy® and stainless steel. Both the front and rear thrust washers are available in either ceramic, Hastelloy®, or silicon carbide materials. The TE-8 and TE-10 are the only pumps in the line for which silicon carbide thrust washers are available.
Viton®, ethylene propylene and Teflon® "O" rings are available to round out the compatibility of the number 8 pump.
A variation in motors, from the standard TEFC, 3HP, 3 phase 230/460 volt in the plastic models to a 5 HP, 3 phase, explosion proof in the stainless steel model, may be used to drive the number B pump.
A steel frame TEFC motor that is not a chemical type motor is also available.
With the addition of compatible flanges to the 2 inch MPT inlet and the 1-1/2
MPT outlet, the versatile TE-B-MD pump can be used successfully in a wide
variety of applications.
