Magnetic Drive Pumps for Chiller Applications
Chiller systems remove heat from liquid for a variety of purposes through vapor compression or an absorption cycle. Magnetic drive pumps are needed to pump cooling liquids through the closed system, powering the process of heat removal. March pumps are your best option for long lasting chiller equipment.
Our American made seal-less centrifugal magnetic drive pumps are designed for chemical recirculation and heat transfer within chillers. A commonly used pump for these applications is the 320-CP, capable of generating a maximum flow of 3.3 gallons per minute at 1 foot, with a maximum head of 40 feet, or 17psi. They can withstand a maximum internal pressure of 50psi, and a maximum liquid temperature of 190 Fahrenheit. March products have pumped solvents and acids like Formaldehyde, Hydrochloric Acid, Nitric and Phosphoric acid.
